Richie is a stunning antique silver plate asparagus serving tongs

He is a very stylish and rare  example of this type of Clamshell spring back tongs.

His design is very sophisticated with engraving cut of bow and sweetheart edge shape, very Art Nouveau 

His has a cartouche on both sides with date 1st January 1913 in French and the letter B on the other

Made by Wiskemann which is marked inside of both sides. Originates from Belgium. 

Richie has some age and patina and is good working condition
